Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy are in a remote galaxy searching for members of a Space Patrol expedition that had been sent out to find the source of a mysterious space-a-phone signal. Buzz and Happy rescued one of the pilots from an attack by the unfriendly forces that guard the galaxy. Three other pilots still are lost." --- the narrator
Opening: "Quietly, efficiently, the Space Patrol is carrying out Commander Corry's preliminary plans for a mass attack on planet X, stronghold of Prince Baccarratti. In the tower room of his castle on the giant planet, the Prince is making his own plans. He smiles with diabolic satisfaction as his scientific adviser Dr Melingro hands him a small metal cylinder." --- the narrator
Industrialist John Crosier didn't build his corporate empire without a certain penchant for ruthlessness, which is not above putting the deep freeze on an ailing scientist to prevent him from quitting his employ.
Opening: "Not far from Space Patrol headquarters, on the man-made planet Terra, is the Crosier Building. From his spacious offices on the top floor, John Crosier directs his far-reaching enterprises. It is Crosier's proud boast that his payroll list is virtually a scientific Hall of Fame, an interplanetary Who's Who of distinguished men and women in every field of science and technology. His rugged features and penetrating eyes are reflected on the polished surface of his mammoth endurium desk as he confers with his director of plant operations Erla Veckor and the noted physicist Professor David Hegman. " --- the narrator
This prequel, a not-for-broadcast record released by Decca in 1954, is often included as part of the Space Patrol canon, but it is not. It is the first of two prequels produced after Mike Moser's death by Helen Moser (widow) and Lew Spence. The second is "Happy Joins Buzz Corry" --- nightkey
Opening: "The Space Patrol—relentless foe of those who menace the freedom of the space lanes. But the Space Patrol was not always a powerful instrument of justice. Once its ships clung close to the planets, powerless to combat the bold marauders who terrorized the void. And then, in a universe filled with fear and chaos, there appeared a LEADER! This is the story of a man whose vision and courage extended to the stars... the story of how Buzz Corry became Commander-in-Chief of the Space Patrol."
Opening: "The Space Patrol, under the direction of Commander Corry, continues the unrelenting search for Prince Baccarratti. For the time being, however, the evil prince seems to have suspended his criminal operations. Right now on Saturn's sixth moon, The Space Miner's Outfitting and Supply Company is having its own special problem, for Captain Hackett is in camp. It is the bad fortune of Wilbred Jenkins, Assistant Manager, to be on duty alone in the supply centre as the old space miner storms in." --- the narrator
AFRTS recording with no credits. Made-up title taken from plot?
Opening: "For weeks [Zoltan] Baccarratti has attempted to rebuild the crime empire created by his twin brother, only to be thwarted by Commander Corry of the Space Patrol. Holed-up in the retreat on Jupiter, Baccarratti plots a new foray with the help of [Aaman Druga], a clever schemer who will undertake anything for the proper price. With the vigilance of Commander Corry curtailing Baccarratti's lust for power, the evil prince's [thirst to exercise his] vanity within the limits of his luxurious hideout, strutting before mirrors in gaudy uniforms designed by himself." --- the narrator
Opening: "Exactly seven minutes after the report of the robbery, Commander Corry and cadet Happy were in Division A of the Express Office of the Paris spaceport. That anyone could successfully carry off a robbery in Division A was incredible. For 15 years, Sam Grady had observed the formal security regulations as chief agent of Division A. Observed them faithfully, but without the slightest suspicion that anyone would dare to violate them. Yet here is Sam Grady, his head still throbbing from an aching blow, face-to-face with the Commander-in-Chief of the Space Patrol." --- the narrator
Opening: "Buzz Corry and Cadet Happy, aboard their space battle cruiser Terra V, are en route to the planet Mars to seek Tonga, who has been in the Mars capitol, Lowell City, for several weeks. Under orders from Major Robertson, he's been investigating the [?] disappearances of [critical] material from government and private manufacturing plants. At this moment the Commander is briefing Happy on their procedure for contacting Tonga." --- the narrator
Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy are aboard the Terra V, bound for the planet Jupiter where the governors of the five outer planets are holding a conference. Whatever problems these great leaders have to discuss, Buzz knows they are no more important than the one that faces him as Commander-in-Chief of the Space Patrol. The entire United Planets are at the mercy of a criminal who controls a device that makes matter invisible. Walls and locked doors are no barriers, and delicate warning systems are no restraint to Rolf Boeger in his pursuit of crime. Thinking of this powerful enemy, Happy has been unusually silent on this flight to Jupiter." --- the narrator
Professor Maleson's ship is shot down on the dark side of Mercury where temperatures fall below -122° F. Commander Corry and Cadet Happy organize a massive search and rescue operation, but before they find the professor, they are diverted by acts of sabotage against the water and power supplies of the local colony of Solaria. Pursuit of the saboteurs, Berdock and Grolf, take Corry and Happy to the hot side of Mercury where temperatures soar to over 500° F.
With Ed Kemmer (Commander Corry), Lyn Osborn (Cadet Happy), Ken Mayer, and Norman Jolley.
Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy are on the planet Mercury organizing Space Patrol units into a search for Professor Maleson, whose spaceship vanished on the dark side of the planet, but now, a second emergency on another part of Mercury sends Buzz and Happy racing to the hot side of the tiny planet to Solaria, the City of the Sun." --- the narrator
Opening: "Shardu, who claims to be the rightful emperor of the remote planet Dargeeda, has sent spies through the solar system to recover a jewelled crown. Commander Corry realizes that the crown, in the possession of a tyrant like Shardu could cause trouble and bloodshed on Dargeeda and in the United Planets as well. So far, Buzz has been able to outwit Shardu and his agents. In the city of Telgo on Dargeeda, Shardu blames his assistant, Borvain, for the failure of his recent attempt to destroy Buzz and Happy." --- the narrator
Opening: "In Commander Corry's central office at Space Patrol headquarters on Terra, Cadet Happy is checking through a file of search mission reports from the Venus command, as the Secretary-General's daughter, Carol enters." --- the narrator

Losses have been reported by jewellers and private collectors on Earth, Mercury, and Mars. The latest victim is the Terra Gem Company. Local agents are completely baffled, so Commander Corry has personally taken over the investigation. With Cadet Happy, Buzz is in the vault of a Terra Gem Company, questioning the manager Doren Congrey." --- the narrator
Transferring vital evidence of fraud to a courier ship in Venus spaceport, Corry and Happy are carjacked by the suspects, who steal the evidence and the ship, then hightail it for Mars.
Opening: "For several weeks, Commander Corry and Cadet Happy have been on the planet Venus conducting an undercover investigation into a plot to defraud the United Planets government and Venus businessmen. Now, in civilian clothes, Buzz and Happy are in a service car in Vena City headed toward the Vena City Spaceport. Between them is a sealed pouch containing the results of their intensive work. --- the narrator
Opening: "The patient in room 399 of the Special Confinement Ward in the Terra hospital is causing great concern to Commander Corry. Captured after a violent struggle at the Terra Spaceport, he has failed to respond to expert treatment. Although conscious and able to talk, he has refused to reveal his identity or the reason for his attempt to steal a spaceship. Now in his central office at headquarters, Buzz examines the medical report that Happy has just handed him." --- the narrator
Opening: "In all the universe there is no place more full of tension and fear than in the castle of Prince Baccarratti on planet X. With his plans for conquest of the solar system thwarted at every turn by Commander Corry of the Space Patrol, his highness has been taking out his rage and frustration on his men. And most uneasy of all is Baccarratti's chief henchman, Dr Melingro whom the Prince holds responsible for the repeated failure of his [schemes for aggression]. For a week now, Melingro has feigned illness rather than enjoy the constant abuse heaped upon him by the evil prince. But today, he has asked for an audience with his highness in the Tower Room of the huge castle." --- the narrator
Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy have captured one of the agents from Tyranna, a distant solar system that plans to attack the United Planets. For hours now, Buzz has given brain-o-graph tests to the agent Rogaard, attempting to learn all possible information about the enemy. Happy is in the Command of central office right now at Space Patrol headquarters as Buzz enters from the Security [Lab]." --- the narrator
The plans for a device designed to detect deeply buried mineral deposits are stolen from the Merritt Electronics vaults, apparently an inside job. Identifying the culprits proves easy enough, but the tables get turned on Corry and Happy when they try to arrest them—they find themselves shanghaied and dumped in the Martian wasteland.
Opening: "Even on the man-made planet Terra itself, few citizens are aware of the existence of the Merritt Design and Development Company. Yet from Mercury to Pluto, there is hardly a man, woman, or child whose life isn't made more secure and pleasant because of the engineering know-how in the creation of electronic devices by the Merritt company. And so, when Howard Merritt reported that the Terra offices had been burglarized, Commander Corry assumed personal charge of the investigation. Right now, Buzz and Happy are standing before the damaged door of the Merritt company vault, questioning the perplexed and worried executive, Howard Merritt." --- the narrator
Opening: "For several weeks, a feeling of insecurity and fear has been spreading throughout the United Planets. Despite the relentless efforts of Commander Corry and the Space Patrol, a master criminal continues to strike where he pleases, under the protection of an electronic device that renders him invisible. At the present moment, the criminal, Rolf Boeger, is making use of a temporarily inactive factory building in the capital city of the planet Neptune. Boeger stands, glowering down at an elderly man who lies [?]." --- the narrator
Opening: "A power-mad Prince Baccarratti is now in the hands of Commander Corry. The man who sought to overthrow the United Planets is a captive on the remote planet X, in the very prison camp where he had forced 130 abducted men into slave labour in the Arctite Mine. As Cadet Happy assists Space Patrol officers preparing to evacuate Baccarratti's former captives to their home planet, Commander Corry questions the self-styled [?] in the labour camp office shack." --- the narrator
A lonely observatory on a Saturn moon falls under the influence of a group of alien refugees who have been hiding in the moon's caverns for centuries, waiting for the right moment to escape.
Opening: "Of all the outposts in the solar system, few are more lonely than the [?] Observatory on Saturn's eighth moon. On this four million square miles of airless satellite, there is no sign of life. [?] As if from out of nowhere a tiny figure in a spacesuit appears, moves toward the observatory airlock, and enters." --- the narrator
Opening: "Through a strange series of events, Commander Corry finds himself in a baffling position. Gordon Spangler, [a] wanted criminal, has escaped from the solar system and is now somewhere near Arctrona, a planet 75 light years away. At the same time, the Commander has in custody on Terra the space pilot Dekoja, a fugitive from Arctrona. For several hours Buzz and Happy have been trying to contact the planet Arctrona on the hyper-space transmitter in the Commander's central office on Terra." --- the narrator
Opening: "Buzz and Happy are flying low over the cinder mountains on the planet Saturn, searching for a trace of a meteorology specialist, believed to have crashed in his atmosphere ship in the rugged region. So far, their space-a-phone receiver has failed to pick up a signal from the automatic transmitter carried by the scientist, Byron Stern." --- the narrator
Opening: "Are you in the market for Jupiter jade? Are you trying to locate a set of Martian silverware? You need a pair of horns from a Venus water buffalo? Then one visit to the office of Interplanet Procurement Corporation will solve your problems. At least so is the claim of Erik Zenker, president of the firm. If you ask Mr Zenker what channels he uses, or what methods he employs to obtain these out of the ordinary items, he will smile mysteriously and murmur something about 'trade secrets'. At this moment, in his office on Terra, Erik Zenker is not smiling, and his tone as he speaks to chemist, Ghant Kemlin, is pitched somewhat above a murmur." --- the narrator
Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy are in the Terra V, high above the surface of the planet Robonic, a world ruled by robots. They have just blasted off from a forest region where they said good-bye to Mono and Aneala, two friends whom the Space Patrollers rescued from enemies of the principal city of the planet. While Buzz is at the controls, Happy idly adjusts the Space Patrol periscope, the amazing hyper-space optical device that can show a close-up view of any part of space." --- the narrator
Opening: "Brokoff, a criminal from another solar system, is using a strange and powerful weapon to gain control of the United Planets. By releasing millions of microscopic spores from a poisonous plant into a city's atmosphere he can reduce the entire population to spiritless automatons, lacking both the energy and desire to cure the condition that afflicts them. Commander Corry has been able to save Saturn City from the epidemic thanks to the aid of Gelwin, a galactic crime investigator from the Telarma star system. Right now in Space Patrol headquarters at Saturn City, Buzz and Happy face the task of capturing Brokoff before he can strike again." --- the narrator
AFRTS recording with no credits. Made-up title taken from plot?
Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy are making a series of tests of the new stardrive spaceship. The stardrive was designed by a space traveller from another planetary system and its principles are not thoroughly understood. At present, only Buzz and Happy can operate the amazing craft that puts the most distant stars within reach of explorers from the solar system. After they thoroughly master the stardrive and the technique of astrogation through hyper-space, Commander Corry will train other Space Patrol pilots for expeditions into inter-stellar space. At this moment, Buzz and Happy are in stardrive bound for Vega, a star 26 light years from the sun." --- the narrator

Opening: "At the controls of the space battle cruiser, Terra I, Commander Buzz Corry speeds toward the planet Earth, to inspect a new spaceport. He glances at his passenger, a young cadet named Happy, whose expression at this moment doesn't match his name."
Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy are on a special mission to Pluto, outermost planet of the solar system. Forty times as far from the sun as the planet Earth, Pluto is a dark and frozen world. The gasses that would be its atmosphere lie in a solid coating, like ice, upon its surface. In Pluto's black sky, the remote sun appears as a large flaming star. The population of Pluto City is protected from the cold airlessness of space by a thin, atmosphere shell. Beneath this huge transparent bubble, life goes on as it does on Earth, or Terra, or Mars. It is not quite the same, as Buzz and Happy are observing as they walk down a dimly lighted street of the city." --- the narrator
Lt Greyson, Commandant of the Mercury Patrol squadron, swears he saw a meteor disappear—not explode—somewhere between the orbit of Mercury and Venus, leaving no debris. Before he can submit to a brain-o-graph test, a freighter has disappeared as well. Professor Jelka hypothesizes that the 'cycloplex' (read 'black hole') is an electromagnetic vortex which connects to other dimensions or a matrix of dimensions. An entrepreneur utilizes a computer to predict the future for his clients, but when Corry takes an interest in the business, the computer recommends he be cancelled.
Opening: "Electronic computers prove their worth. With lightning speed they foretold the path of rockets and predicted the weather. In the 30th century, these amazing electronic brains supply information and guidance for government leaders and all major industries. The giant government computer on Terra helps keep the economy of the United Planets in balance. Although most privately owned electronic brains proceed in an honest manner, to supply special information to business firms, one famous computer in Venus City, known as Future Incorporated, is operated mostly for the benefit of unethical investors by Anton McDermitt. Right now, McDermitt is in his office talking to a new client, Brandon Fergus." --- the narrator
Opening: "Commander Corry's space battlecruiser, the Terra V, skims low over the mountains of the planet Venus. But about two weeks ago, an alarming thing happened; all over the city, people of all ages began complaining of weakness, disturbing headaches. Medical authorities are completely baffled, but although there have been no fatalities as yet, the situation is extremely serious. So serious that the City Manager, Dr Simon Kendall has gone to Terra, seeking aid from the United Planets Government. Now, at the request of the Secretary-General, Commander Corry, Cadet Happy, and Dr Kendall are flying to Euphoria to conduct an investigation." --- the narrator
Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy are in their stardrive spaceship, cruising far beyond the orbit of Tyranna 15, outermost planet of a remote solar system in the constellation Pegasus. With their Space Patrol periscope they're observing Tyranna's preparations for the coming attack upon the United Planets. Right now the instrument is focused on a vast space port near the capital city of Tyranna." --- the narrator
Opening: "Somewhere in the solar system there lurks a dangerous enemy. His name is Rolf Boeger and he holds control of an invention so revolutionary that the entire resources, enterprise and courage of the Space Patrol are almost powerless to combat it. Commander Corry, in his first encounter with Boeger and his criminal activities, succeeded in capturing [Clinton] Slake, Boeger's accomplice and chief muscleman. As Buzz and Happy bring Slake aboard the Terra V at the Terra spaceport, the criminal smirks over his shoulder at the Commander." --- the narrator
Opening: "For weeks now there has been no major crime along the space lanes. Days have passed since a Space Patrol ship has reported even so much as a sighting of a space craft approaching or leaving planet X. Patrol ships, ordered in close to the giant planet, have made swift, daring scanning flights over known installations and have returned with identical reports—no new or suspicious activity. But still Commander Corry holds firmly to his policy of constant vigilance. And then one day, a patrol ship space-a-phoned to report that justifies the Commander's alertness. In the central office on planet Terra, Buzz sends a copy of the report to Cadet Happy." --- the narrator

His exact source of income is unknown even to his closest associates, but he has a reputation for backing fantastic schemes and allowing himself to be imposed upon by men of doubtful worth. Even his confidential secretary, Mark Duncan, occasionally feels called upon to offer Domdean a word of caution." --- the narrator
Opening: "A United Planets space observatory out beyond the Pluto orbit has been picking up strange electromagnetic impulses from a remote part of the galaxy. Tests revealed a pattern that scientists could interpret only as signals—radio signals produced by intelligent beings in an uncharted region of space. Commander Corry dispatched four stardrive spaceships to investigate. Equipped with transmitters that operate through hyperspace, the expedition kept up its regular schedule of reports for two days. Now, for twenty-four hours, not one of the four ships has been heard from. Opening: "A blasted heap of rubble. That's all that remains of the camouflaged launching base on Jupiter moon number four, aiming point from which Prince Baccarratti planned to hurl guided missiles across half-a-million miles of space to destroy two key cities on the planet Jupiter. Last week we learned how Commander Corry and Cadet Happy arrived just in time to blast the missile shoots and control blockhouse to bits with a space torpedo from the Terra V. It's now a few moments later. Buzz and Happy have landed on moon number four while the last grains of dust from the explosion are falling swiftly to the surface of the airless satellite. Wearing spacesuits and carrying portable disintegrators, they cautiously approach the shattered structure." --- the narrator

Opening: "From the hot side of Mercury to the outermost moon of the planet Pluto, the Space Patrol is ready for action when trouble strikes. Most of the time, when trouble comes, it bursts forth suddenly in a single calamity or an act of violence. But other times, trouble wears a mask; It hides innocently among columns of figures in technical reports. In either case, it rarely escapes the sharp eye of Commander Corry. Right now, in the central office on the man-made planet Terra, Buzz is completing the third check of a stack of documents, with the help of Cadet Happy." --- the narrator
Opening: "What is the fate of Prince Baccarratti? That's the question uppermost in the minds of Commander Corry and Cadet Happy as they manoeuvre the Terra V slowly over the great sea of planet X. In their last adventure, Buzz and Happy cornered Baccarratti and Dr Melingro in a deserted city under the sea, but the Prince and his henchman slipped into an escape hatch and shot toward the surface in some sort of sealed capsule. Now, as their spaceship circles over the approximate location of the engulfed city, Buzz and Happy watch the viewscopes for a sign of the strange cylinder containing the two men." --- the narrator
Space Patrol agents have collected evidence against the Saturn syndicate on a microfilm, but syndicate operatives manage to retrieve it, looking to secure it safely out of Patrol reach on an uncharted asteroid. Corry, however, enlists the aid of a wily Martian prospector to hunt them down.
Opening: "After months of careful investigation, Space Patrol agents have gathered evidence against the leaders of the notorious Saturn Syndicate. This gang, for months, has been victimizing honest businessmen on the outer planets of the solar system. Commander Corry has been awaiting the arrival of an agent with the evidence that will convict the leaders of the syndicate. Now, Buzz grimly enters his central office on Terra where Cadet Happy is decoding space-o-grams." --- the narrator
Opening: "On ten planets, Space Patrol agents are ready to pounce upon known members of the Cobra gang, but the syndicate of criminals appears to have suspended all operations, and its shrewd leader Emile Gargoth has gone into hiding. The name of the dread organization seems to have been dropped completely from public minds. Certainly it's far from the minds of two men who sit chatting in a comfortable mansion on the outskirts of Venus City. One is the wealthy and elderly Andrew Means, retired interplanetary financier. The other is his host, the youthful-appearing Dr Clement Borodek, a mysterious, yet popular figure in United Planet society. After a lengthy discussion, Andrew Means suddenly turns to Dr Borodek." --- the narrator
A plutonium thief leads Corry on a chase to an underground tunnel complex beneath the Saturn colony, from which he threatens to destroy the city above.

Opening: "Commander Corry and Happy are now on the man-made planet Terra, where Buzz is organizing a task force for an assault on planet X. Although Buzz and Happy wrecked Prince Baccarratti's delicate and complex defence control monitor in Baccarratti's castle, the Space Patrol forces dare not make an all-out attack on installations on planet X, for to do so would endanger thousands of innocent natives forced into labour by the evil prince and also would harm hundreds of skilled technicians held captive on the remote planet. Right now, in the Commander's central office in Space Patrol headquarters, Cadet Happy is sorting out all available information on planet X installations." --- the narrator
Technicians on a remote communications relay station come under the influence of alien crystals that slave their minds to the aggressive ambitions of an alien power.
Opening: "Swinging in a wide orbit around the planet Saturn is the artificial satellite, Comm Relay 4, a powerful communications relay centre. Serious trouble between two men assigned to duty at the space station has brought Commander Corry and Cadet Happy to investigate. With their ship, Terra V, joined to the airlock of Comm Relay 4, Buzz and Happy are now opening the inner lock of the huge disk-shaped relay station." --- the narrator
Opening: "Ordinarily, the appearance of the monthly Space Patrol bulletin is a routine event. It causes no excitement, except perhaps among the officers and men of the publications section who are charged with the responsibility of preparing this official monthly report on Space Patrol activities. But this time, there is considerable interest in the document by every level of command. In his central office at Space Patrol headquarters on Terra, Commander Corry frowns and shakes his head as he examines a copy of the bulletin. Cadet Happy, returning from an errand in another part of headquarters, fails to notice the Commander's unusually serious manner." --- the narrator
Opening: "Commander Corry has discovered that agents from the planet Dargeeda, near the star Antares, are secretly at work in the solar system searching for a jewelled crown. Buzz fears Orkon will try to locate the one man in the United Planets who may know the whereabouts of the crown—the archeologist, Howard Sterndorf. So far, the Commander has been unable to contact the scientist to warn him of the danger he faces at the hands of the ruthless intruders from Dargeeda. Right now, Buzz and Happy are in the Commander's office at Terra headquarters." --- the narrator
Two over-ambitious used spaceship dealers kidnap a seismologist to force him to predict a volcanic eruption on the Saturn colony, thus creating a panic to get off the planet. They'll clean up selling junk spacecraft to the desperate colonists.
Opening: "Commander Corry and Cadet Happy are in the Commander's flag ship, the Terra V, approaching the planet Mercury, where a few hours before a minor quake shook a small section of that innermost planet. There were no casualties and no damage to property, yet within the hour every planetary capitol, every scientific laboratory, was buzzing with excitement. Furthermore, it caused Commander Corry to make a special trip to Mercury. Why all this interest in a harmless quake? Because it was predicted eight years before, almost to the minute! Intently now, Happy scans the viewscope screen of the cracked and [?] surface of Mercury spins below." --- the narrator
A search and rescue mission to locate an overdue passenger liner bound for Neptune finds the missing ship adrift and everyone aboard asleep, the victims of a plot to steal a half million credits from one of the passengers.
